Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
ClipMynt (“we”, “us”) operates wutongrain.com, a browser-based tool that turns short-drama or web-fiction scripts into shot-by-shot storyboards, and that analyses publicly available short videos. For any privacy question, or to exercise a right described below, write to [email protected].
2. What we collect
| Category | What exactly | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Account | Username, optional email address, salted password hash (never the password itself), signup and last-login timestamps | To create and secure your account and to sign you in across devices |
| Device & network | A random device identifier stored in a first-party cookie, your IP address, and request timestamps | Free-tier limits, fraud and multi-account abuse prevention |
| Content you submit | The script or prompt text you paste, and the settings you choose (language, shot count, style) | To generate the storyboard you asked for |
| Output | The storyboard we generated for you, stored under your account so you can reopen and download it | Delivery and re-download |
| Usage & billing | Credit balance, credit ledger entries, plan and subscription status, PayPal subscription and transaction IDs | Metering, invoicing, refunds, tax and accounting records |
| Diagnostics | Error messages and server logs (no full request bodies) | Debugging and abuse investigation |
We do not collect payment card numbers. Card and PayPal credentials are entered on PayPal’s own pages; we only receive a confirmation plus a transaction identifier.
3. Cookies
- Session cookie — keeps you signed in. Required.
- Device cookie (
wr_did) — a random ID that lets free-tier limits follow the browser rather than the account. Required for the free tier. - Analytics — Google Analytics with IP anonymisation, used only in aggregate to see which pages work. You can block it with any content blocker; the product keeps working.
We do not run advertising or cross-site retargeting cookies.
4. Who processes your data
We keep the list short and specific. These are the only third parties that touch your data, and only for the purpose shown:
| Processor | Receives | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Model provider (DeepSeek API) | The script text you submitted for generation | Producing the storyboard. Requests are sent without your account identity. |
| PayPal | Your email, plan chosen, billing country; payment credentials stay with PayPal | Subscription billing, top-up payments, refunds, dispute handling |
| Cloudflare | IP address, request metadata | CDN, DDoS protection, TLS |
| Email delivery provider | Your email address | Sending verification, password-reset and billing notices |
| Google Analytics | Anonymised IP, page views | Aggregate product analytics |
We do not sell, rent or share personal data with data brokers, and we do not use your content to train any model, ours or a third party’s.
5. Where data is stored
Account records and generated storyboards are stored on servers located in the United States. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, this means your data is transferred outside your region; the transfer relies on the processor’s standard contractual clauses. Payment data never reaches our servers.
6. How long we keep it
- Account and generated storyboards — while your account exists. Deleting your account removes them.
- Billing and tax records — kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires, even after account deletion, because we are legally obliged to keep them.
- Server logs — rotated automatically, generally within 30 days.
- Uploaded video files — we do not retain video or audio files; temporary files are deleted when the job finishes.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to: give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or stop processing it. Write to [email protected] from the address on the account and we will respond within 30 days. Deleting your account cancels any active subscription at the end of the current billing period and forfeits unused credits, as described in the Refund Policy. If you are in the EEA or the UK you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
8. Children
The service is not directed at children. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to create an account. If we learn that an account belongs to a child below that age, we will close it and delete the data.
9. Security
Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Traffic is encrypted with TLS. Access to production data is limited to the operator of the service. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately and we will help you secure it.
10. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes that affect what we collect or who receives it will be announced on the site before they take effect.
